Job summary

Zoetis is seeking an experienced leader to manage Biological Quality Control operations at the Charles City site. The role ensures vaccines meet US, EU and international regulatory standards and advises management on actions when specifications are not met.

The position leads four QC departments and oversees testing, release, and regulatory readiness, including APHIS sampling and LIMS management. Strong leadership and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in science related field with 9–13 years of experience or MBA/MS in science related field with 7–11 years of experience.
• Experience leading QC operations and regulatory actions at a biopharma/animal health facility.
• Proficiency with MS Office and data analysis; familiarity with USDA, EU guidelines and cGMPs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day QC laboratory and Animal Test facility activities.
• Lead 4 QC departments: Virology, Bacteriology/Immunology, Chemistry/Microbiology/Environmental Monitoring, Animal Test.
• Review validation protocols, test records and SOPs for regulatory compliance.
