Job summary

MSD in Durham is seeking an Associate Production Technician for vaccine manufacturing on a 12-hour night shift (6:00 PM–6:30 AM) in a 2-2-3 rotation. You will execute aseptic processing, document all steps for traceability, and support equipment setup and calibration.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, willingness to lift 50 lbs, and pass aseptic gowning. Aseptic handling and GMP knowledge are essential, with benefits and bonus eligibility described in the posting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Willing to work 12-hour night shift (6:00 PM–6:30 AM) on a 2-2-3 rotation.
• Must pass aseptic gowning qualification with full PPE.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work varied shifts.
• Basic computer literacy (email/word processing).
• Willing to be vaccinated or blood tested if needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate vaccine manufacturing equipment and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Complete documentation for traceability and accountability.
• Maintain and move processing equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Run computer-controlled process equipment (washers, autoclaves, vial fillers, etc.).
• Assist in environmental monitoring and in-process testing as required.
• Adhere to GMP, sanitation, safety, and Kaizen initiatives.
