Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim seeks a Specialist for Technical Production on a night shift (M–F, 8:00pm–4:30am) to support continuous vaccine manufacturing. You will coordinate with groups, lead preparation of active ingredients and components, and help ensure quality, compliance and safety.

The role requires GMP/USDA knowledge, aseptic technique, and strong documentation skills, with a focus on training, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus 3–5 years in related field.
• Biology or Science degree preferred with 3–4 years in related field.
• Solid math, writing and documentation skills.
• Experience with GMP/USDA vaccine manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and evaluate production protocols/experiments for new product transfers and productivity improvements.
• Oversee training and qualification of team members.
• Review in-process documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Initiate root-cause analyses and implement corrective actions; escalate production disturbances.
• Demonstrate commitment to EHS programs and initiatives.
• Provide feedback on individual and team performance in Production.
• Support site projects and initiatives.
