Job summary

Elanco is seeking a Research Scientist (R1) focused on fermentation and bioreactor technologies to lead upstream bioprocessing efforts within the Vaccine Technical Development group. You will own projects, design experiments, and drive timely progress across cross-functional teams, mentoring colleagues and advancing process scale-up.

Qualified candidates hold an MS or PhD with relevant experience, possess strong written and verbal communication, and demonstrate ability to influence key business

Responsibilities

• Lead large R&D projects in upstream bioprocessing and fermentation.
• Own projects or technical areas and design experiments and SOPs.
• Oversee data analysis, provide insights, and coordinate cross-functional work.
• Act as project lead, train others, and manage resources and timelines.
