Job summary

Elanco Fort Dodge, IA is seeking a Research Scientist (Analytical Development) to lead vaccine analytics programs. The role focuses on method development, assay validation, and cross-functional project leadership in a fast-paced environment.

You will design experiments, interpret complex data, and drive projects to successful licensure while maintaining quality and collaboration across the Elanco network.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in a relevant scientific discipline with at least 1 year of industry or post-doctoral experience; OR M.S. with 5+ years in vaccine analytical development.
• Hands-on expertise in analytical method development (e.g., potency assays, ELISA, viral titration).
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple large-scale projects within Vaccine Technical Development.
• Design, optimize, and validate analytical methods for vaccine development and licensure.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure milestones are met and knowledge is shared.
