Qualifications

  • Graduate core program in public health or preventive medicine completed.
  • 12 months of epidemiology investigation experience in a local or federal health agency, including 6 months at Epidemiology Investigator 3 level (65763).
  • OR 6 months experience as Epidemiology Investigator 3, 65763.
  • OR equivalent evidence of minimum qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement and manage statewide epidemiology program for vaccine‑preventable diseases.
  • Lead outbreak investigation and control efforts for identified infectious diseases.
  • Supervise lower‑level epidemiology investigators and staff.
