Job summary

Merck & Co. in West Point, PA is seeking a Specialist, Engineering within the ROTA E2E Strategic Projects Technical Operations team.

The role provides end-to-end technical support for commercial vaccine products and guides performance across vaccine manufacturing and packaging areas. You will lead improvement projects, manage CAPAs, and collaborate with operators, quality, and vendors to ensure safety, compliance, and efficiency.

Qualifications

Two years of post-bachelor's degree experience in a GMP-regulated function (Operations, Technical Operations, Technology, Engineering, or Maintenance).
Experience supporting change control activities and/or project execution.
Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage projects and assignments effectively while meeting schedules.

Responsibilities

Support, execute, and/or lead continuous improvement projects to increase compliance and efficiency.
Lead CAPA investigations and initiatives to improve Right-First-Time performance and yield.
Manage project timelines to meet regulatory and customer deadlines; escalate delays as needed.
Collaborate with Coaches, Operators, Mechanics, Quality, Planning, and vendors.
