Job summary

SGS Consulting in Pearl River, NY 10965 is seeking an entry-level lab technician to support vaccine development through routine sample testing under direct supervision in a fully on-site laboratory.

You will document experiments in an electronic lab notebook, perform calculations, analyze data, and contribute to development reports and analytical method qualification. Collaboration with a small team and ongoing literature review are encouraged.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Biology or related discipline (0–2 years preferred)
• Ability to work a 40-hour week, 8-hour days, on-site in a laboratory
• Basic knowledge of antibody-antigen interactions and bioassay techniques
• Experience with ELISAs and plate-based testing methods

Responsibilities

• Perform routine sample testing in vaccine development support
• Document experiments and analyze data using an electronic lab notebook
• Contribute to drafting development reports and analytical methods
• Set up and monitor experiments; provide lab operations support
• Read literature to stay current and participate in data discussions
