Job summary

Boeehringer Ingelheim in the United States is seeking an Associate Technician, Biological Production to support vaccine production in a cGMP environment. The role involves setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting of production equipment, with documentation and compliance responsibilities.

The position requires basic lab/applications knowledge, ability to work in an aseptic environment, and strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2 years general work experience.
• Associate's Degree with 1 year general work experience.
• Basic computer skills with Word, Excel, and electronic management systems.
• Basic understanding of biological equipment and processes (e.g., fermentation, centrifuge, concentration units).
• Ability to read, interpret and conform to batch records, quality and safety requirements.
• Ability to operate applicable ERP system.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting of production equipment in an aseptic clean room.
• Release and prepare equipment, instruments and materials for use; perform inventory transactions.
• Review batch records and document quality checks in a timely manner.
• Support safety activities and contribute to root cause analyses and corrective actions.
• Review SOPs and forms to support regulatory compliance and change controls.
