Job description

Florida Vacation Homes is a vacation rental property management company dedicated to creating the perfect vacation experience for families visiting the Orlando area. We are in the hospitality industry, helping guests make their stay memorable and encouraging repeat visits. We are seeking to add a member to our Quality Assurance Team to ensure our guests enjoy a seamless experience.

Applicants must be reliable, hands-on, self-motivated, trustworthy, hardworking, dependable, and good communicators. Customer service is crucial as the employee represents the company when dealing with guest issues.

The role encompasses three key duties:

1. INSPECTIONS - Check the quality of housekeeper work and all aspects of the property such as Wi-Fi, TVs, hot water, lights, appliances, and pool. Create work orders as necessary.
2. STAGING - Prepare properties for guest arrival to ensure first impressions exceed expectations. Ensure bedding, window dressings, seating areas, and pool decks are staged to standards.
3. BASIC MAINTENANCE - Perform minor repairs during inspections, such as replacing light bulbs, resetting breakers, or unclogging disposals, rather than delegating all repairs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conduct departure and pre-arrival inspections, reporting damages and ensuring standards are met.
• Stage properties for guest arrivals.
• Attend to guest call-outs for troubleshooting and minor repairs.
• Perform light cleaning duties as needed.
• Maintain inventory and records of replacements and chargeable items.
• Assist with scheduling deep cleans, carpet cleaning, and pressure washing.
• Inspect safety equipment and emergency systems, ensuring repairs are made.
• Support maintenance staff during busy periods.
• Use pressure washing and carpet cleaning equipment occasionally.
• Maintain property inventory logs quarterly.

Qualifications include:
