Job summary

Cobra Environmental Inc seeks a Vac Truck Operator to drive heavy vacuum/jetter trucks on major civil infrastructure projects. You will manage advanced cleaning equipment, prep lines for inspection, and work with CCTV/CIPP crews.

This role emphasizes safety, on-time performance, and long-term career growth. You must have a CDL Class B with Tanker Endorsement, 1–2 years of relevant experience, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs while operating outdoors in varied weather.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience operating combination sewer and vacuum trucks or strong heavy-equipment background.
• Valid CDL Class B with Tanker Endorsement and a clean driving record.
• Self-starter with proactive planning and strong organization.
• Physical capability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varied weather.
• Commitment to arriving early and pursuing continuous technical skill growth.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate combination vacuum and jetter trucks to clean gravity sewer mains, storm systems, and manholes.
• Set up job sites with Maintenance of Traffic controls, cones, and signage.
• Select nozzles, hoses, and equipment based on pipe material and blockage.
• Manage water use, debris tank capacity, and waste offloading per regulations.
• Complete daily DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Coordinate with CCTV and CIPP crews to ensure lines are ready for processing.
• Prepare accurate daily reports and logs.
