Job summary

Malloy Ford of Alexandria is looking for a VA State Safety and Emissions Inspector to join our service team in Alexandria. Earn up to $35/hour flat rate with a weekly guaranty and paid training.

You will conduct inspections, maintain safety standards, and communicate needs to the Service Manager. We offer benefits and opportunities for growth in a long‑standing family dealership.

Qualifications

• Active VA State Safety and Emissions Inspector License (must maintain).
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• ERT certification preferred; earn up to $35.00 flat rate.

Responsibilities

• Conduct VA State Safety and Emissions inspections in compliance with Virginia State Police, Virginia DEQ, and Malloy Auto Group guidelines.
• Flag repair needs or safety concerns to the Service Manager during routine service.
• Keep the shop clean and presentable.
• Follow all safety procedures, including required protective eyewear, and report concerns to the Service Manager.
