Malloy Auto Group is hiring a VA State Safety and Emissions Inspector to join our Alexandria service team. The role focuses on conducting State Safety and Emissions inspections in compliance with Virginia regulations while supporting a busy shop.

Qualifications

• Active VA State Safety and Emissions Inspector License (must maintain).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• E.R.T. certification preferred; earn up to $35.00 flat rate.

Responsibilities

• Conduct State Safety and Emissions Inspections in compliance with Virginia State Police, Virginia DEQ, and Malloy Auto Group guidelines.
• Flag repair needs or safety concerns to the Service Manager during routine service.
• Keep the shop clean and presentable.
• Follow all safety procedures, including required protective eyewear, and report concerns to the Service Manager.
