Summary

We are hiring Certified PCA and HHA Caregivers to work 1:1 patient care with our in-home VA patients in the Monticello, NY area. We have a variety of hours available and offer benefits, flexible schedules, and weekly pay.

Special Rates for VA cases

Starting pay rate: $19.00 per hour

Responsibilities

The Home and Community Based Services Aide provides support, assistance with personal hygiene, and household functions for individuals to remain in their own homes.

• Reports observations of the client's condition to the Agency Director or accounts manager. Notifies the Agency Director immediately if any incidents or accidents occur.
• Drives safely, complies with traffic regulations, and wears a seat belt when business travel is required.
• May provide or assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, hair care, denture care, nail care, skin care, and transfers.

Education And Experience

• Six months experience in home care preferred.
• PCA or HHA certification in the state of NY required.

Skill Requirements

• Ability to work flexible hours as required.
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of background.
• Able to work independently.
• Good communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Discretion and confidentiality.
