Job summary

Zynex-Medical, Inc. is seeking a strategic, relationship-driven professional to lead clinical education and drive therapy adoption across VA facilities.

You will build relationships with VA clinical teams, service line leaders, and administrative decision-makers while delivering education on therapy solutions and pathways to reimbursement. You will work to increase utilization and revenue across assigned VA sites, identifying barriers, optimizing workflows, and aligning programs with payer

Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare, medical device, clinical sales, or federal healthcare systems.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and strategically within complex healthcare environments.
  • Experience with rehabilitation, pain management, or prosthetics teams is a plus.
  • VA experience or established VA relationships preferred but not required.
  • 3+ years of healthcare, medical device, or clinical field experience preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Drive Relationship Development Across VA Clinical Stakeholders
  • Build and expand strategic relationships with VA clinical teams, service line leaders, prosthetics departments, and administrative decision-makers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for therapy adoption, reimbursement navigation, and long-term program sustainability within assigned VA sites.
Deliver Expert-Level Clinical & Product Education
  • Provide comprehensive education, demonstrations, and ongoing clinical training on therapy solutions.
  • Establish credibility as a subject matter expert across therapy indications, best practices, documentation, coding considerations, VAMC policies, and patient access pathways.
Increase Therapy Utilization & Revenue Growth
  • Drive measurable increases in therapy utilization and prosthetics orders across assigned VA facilities.
  • Support growth targets through expansion of patient starts, activation of new prescribing providers, and standardization of referral pathways.
  • Contribute to facility-level and regional growth objectives, including expansion into additional VAMCs and VISN initiatives over time.
  • Meet and/or exceed Altivera Medical's 2026 VA payor growth objectives, contributing directly to organizational revenue, market expansion, and long-term sustainability within federal health systems.
  • Operate as a sales-driven, productivity-accountable role, with performance measured by utilization growth, order volume, provider adoption, and facility-level expansion
Optimize VA Workflow & Provider Efficiency
  • Assess existing clinical and administrative workflows to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with clinical and prosthetics teams to implement streamlined processes aligned with VA policies and payer requirements.
Execute Strategies Aligned to VAMC Payer & Organizational Objectives
  • Ensure therapy programs align with VAMC reimbursement structures, prosthetics service requirements, and medical necessity documentation standards.
  • Translate regulatory updates, payer changes, and organizational priorities into actionable field strategies.
Provide Data-Driven Insights & Forecasting
  • Track adoption trends, utilization barriers, and growth opportunities across assigned facilities.
  • Provide strategic feedback, utilization insights, and forecasting input to sales leadership to support regional and national VA strategy.
Enable Multi-Site Expansion Across VA Networks
  • Support expansion into additional VAMCs, CBOCs, and VISN-level initiatives once operational maturity is achieved.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with government accounts, contracting, reimbursement, and marketing teams to accelerate growth.
Additional Role Considerations
  • Responsibilities, scope, and assigned facilities may evolve based on business needs and organizational priorities.
  • This role includes local and regional travel to VA facilities and affiliated clinics as required.
Required Experience
  • Experience in healthcare, medical device, clinical sales, or federal healthcare systems
