Job summary

DirectShifts is seeking a General Medicine physician to perform VA C&P disability examinations, review medical records, and complete DBQs with independence from ongoing patient care.

You will collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure timely evaluations while adhering to VA guidelines and HIPAA. A valid MD/DO license is required, and board certification in General Medicine is preferred.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible General Medicine Physician (MD/DO).
• Active, unrestricted MD/DO license.
• Experience with disability evaluations preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Ability to accurately complete DBQs and reports on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform VA C&P disability examinations.
• Review veterans' medical records and relevant documentation.
• Conduct comprehensive General Medicine examinations.
• Accurately complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs).
• Document findings clearly and within established timelines.
• Maintain compliance with VA guidelines, HIPAA, and regulations.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure timely evaluations.
