Job summary

The Mankato VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) is seeking a Full-Time Staff Provider to deliver primary care within a Whole Health System of care. The role emphasizes individualized Health Plans, strong communication, and inter-disciplinary team collaboration to support Veterans in rural Minnesota and Western Wisconsin.

Responsibilities include serving as a primary care gatekeeper, coordinating with specialists, and participating in ongoing VHA trainings for Women Veterans.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted license in any U.S. state or territory

Responsibilities

• Practices general medicine with focus on community-based outpatient clinical care.
• Develops and maintains an interdisciplinary approach to direct patient care.
• Serves as primary care provider and gatekeeper for Veterans' health.
• Collaborates with consultants and travel between CBOCs as needed.
• Participates in Women Veterans care and VHA mandatory trainings.
