Job summary

Telum Corporation in Virginia Beach is seeking a hands-on Mechanical/Robotics Engineer with UxS experience and a current Secret clearance or eligibility for TS/SCI. The role requires a BS in Mechanical/Robotics/Aeronautical Engineering or related field and at least 3 years of hands-on or professional work in design, integration, fabrication, and testing of unmanned systems.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical/Robotics/Aeronautical Engineering or related field.
• Must currently hold Secret Clearance; eligible for TS/SCI.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on or professional experience.
• Experience supporting unmanned systems (UxS) groups 1/2 in design, integration, testing, and sustainsment.
• Experience with commercially available UxS desirable.
• Experience with launch and recovery mechanisms for UxS.
• Proficient with CAD tools and 3D modeling.
• Experience with CNC machining and shop environment.
• Knowledge of materials, thermal management, and vibration mitigation.
