Job summary

Weston Solutions seeks a UXO Quality Control Specialist to develop the MEC sections of the Quality Control Program Plan (QCPP) for all explosive operations and to ensure compliance through audits. The role includes performing duties of UXO Sweep Personnel and UXO Technicians I–III.

You will identify corrective actions, document findings, and drive closure to ensure safety and regulatory adherence across all explosive-related activities at contracted sites.

Qualifications

• High School diploma plus 8 years experience in all phases of munitions response actions or range clearance activities, and handling of munitions and explosives.
• Graduate of formal UXO training or EOD course; US military EOD school graduates acceptable.
• Ability to identify problems and determine when something is wrong or likely to go wrong.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement MEC sections of the Quality Control Program Plan (QCPP) for all explosive related operations.
• Conduct and document quality control audits of all explosive operations for compliance with procedures.
• Identify, document, report, and ensure completion of corrective actions to ensure compliance with requirements.
