Qualifications

• Must meet DoD UXOQCS certification requirements per DDESB TP 18.
• Minimum of 7–10 years of UXO experience, including supervisory roles.
• Thorough knowledge of MMRP processes, geophysical survey systems, data collection, and intrusive operations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site QC for UXO/MEC operations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain the project Quality Control Plan (QCP).
• Conduct daily QC inspections of field operations including surface clearance, subsurface investigations, intrusive anomaly excavations, and screening operations.
• Verify proper use, calibration, and functionality of geophysical detection equipment.
• Review and approve field documentation (daily production reports, DGM data, anomaly logs, excavation records).
• Monitor personnel qualifications to ensure compliance with DoD UXO requirements.
• Coordinate with Site Safety Officer and participate in tailgate safety briefings.
• Interface with government representatives and support audits/inspections.
