Job summary

HydroGeoLogic, Inc. is seeking an UXO Technician 1 for remote work with travel to project sites across the United States. You will perform UXO sweeps, subsurface clearances, and support geophysical surveys while preparing firing systems for demilitarization operations.

The role requires physical fitness, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and compliance with DoD TP 18 minimum qualifications. Travel is up to 100% with field conditions and rugged environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with clients, regulators, project team members, and company management.
• This position requires minimum 0 - 3 years of commercial UXO experience.
• Graduate of a formal course of instruction appropriate to this skill level and must be able to perform all functions enumerated for UXO Sweep Personnel and UXO Technician.

Responsibilities

• UXO surface sweeps, UXO subsurface clearances, UXO avoidance, and supporting geophysical/UXO surveys.
• Prepare firing systems, both electric/non-electric, for demilitarization operations.
• Transport demolition materials and/or UXO and DMM determined to be safe over public traffic routes.
• Assist in the inspection of MPPEH for the presence of explosive hazards.
• Construct UXO-related protective works.
