UX Writer (Remote)

Pride Health is hiring a UX Writer to support our client’s medical facility based in New York.

This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension, offering competitive pay and benefits, and an excellent opportunity to work with a top-tier healthcare organization.

This is a flexible, part-time, fully remote role, but candidates should be based in the EST time zone.

Location – Remote - New York, NY (10017)

Length of Assignment – 6 Months (possible extension)

Shift and Schedule - Monday-Friday, flexible part-time shift (~20-30 hrs/wk) between 9 AM-5 PM

Job Duties

• Write and edit digital content for MSKCC.org for diverse audiences including patients, caregivers, and the public.
• Create high-impact content such as headlines, display copy, and CTAs to drive engagement and conversions.
• Lead copy testing initiatives, including A/B testing.
• Contribute to projects involving new design templates and content creation.
• Utilize data and analytics to optimize copy performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in digital content creation.
• Experience with UX writing, content testing, and data analysis; healthcare experience is a plus.
• Strong SEO knowledge and understanding of content architecture.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of visual design principles and content's role in design challenges.
• Collaborative, solution-oriented mindset with stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Drupal, Figma, and Airtable is preferred.
