Job summary

Business Technology Integrators (BTI) seeks a UI/UX Specialist to design, develop, and maintain public-facing and administrative portals, emphasizing user experience and accessibility.

The UX Web Developer will design storyboards for each page, gain product owner approval, ensure alignment with DoL Drupal theming, address Section 508 compliance, and mitigate security vulnerabilities under their control, with collaboration across Washington, DC.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in CS, statistics, mathematics or related field.
• At least 6 years of web development experience, including 3 years in web design.
• Experience developing secured access web pages.
• Experience developing search and results pages.
• Experience designing/admin portals handling large data sets.
• Experience configuring web pages to support web analytics.
• Experience leading iterative visualization development with business partners.
• Experience translating business requirements into UX artifacts.
• Experience with agile development and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain public-facing and administrative portals with UX best practices.
• Develop storyboards for each page and obtain product owner approval.
• Ensure compatibility with DoL Drupal theming and standards.
• Ensure portals meet Section 508 requirements and promptly mitigate identified security issues.
