Job summary

BTI is seeking a UI/UX Specialist to design, develop, and maintain both public-facing and internal portals with strong focus on user experience and accessibility.

The role requires translating business requirements into UX artifacts, creating storyboards, and collaborating with product owners while adhering to DoL web standards and Section 508 compliance, security considerations, and agile practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, statistics, mathematics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 6 years of progressively responsible web development experience.
• 3+ years of web design duties.
• Experience developing secured access web pages.
• Experience designing admin portals with large data sets.
• Experience configuring pages for web analytics.
• Experience translating business requirements into UX artifacts.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain public and admin portals with UX focus.
• Create storyboards and obtain product owner approval before development.
• Ensure compliance with DoL web standards and Drupal theming.
• Mitigate security vulnerabilities and enforce Section 508 accessibility.
