Job summary

SFE in Charlotte, NC is seeking a skilled UX/UI Engineer with 5–8 years of experience to design, develop, and deploy intuitive, accessible enterprise‑grade applications and AI agent solutions in the AWS ecosystem.

You will combine strong UX research and UI design with hands‑on front‑end development using React, Angular, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, collaborating with stakeholders, AI engineers, architects, and backend teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, front-end engineering, or full-stack application development.
• Strong hands‑on development experience with React, Angular, Node.js, and responsive web design.
• Proficiency with UX research, user journeys, wireframing, prototyping, interaction design, visual design, and usability testing.
• Experience using modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma platforms.
• Good stakeholder communication, design presentation, problem‑solving, collaboration, and technical leadership skills.
• Experience designing interfaces for GenAI assistants, conversational applications, RAG solutions, or autonomous AI agents.
• Knowledge of front‑end automated testing, performance optimization, analytics instrumentation, and secure coding practices.
