Job summary

NetApp seeks an experienced UX/UI Designer IC2 to create intuitive, accessible digital experiences for web and mobile. You’ll work with product, engineering, and design partners to translate requirements into flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interfaces.

You’ll contribute to usability improvements and design system consistency while building depth in UX methods and collaboration. A portfolio is required.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of UX/UI, product design, visual design, or related professional experience for an IC2-level role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Graphic Design, CS, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Portfolio demonstrating design process, wireframes, prototypes and outcomes.
• Understanding of WCAG accessibility and responsive design best practices.

Responsibilities

• Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that clearly communicate design intent.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and designers to understand requirements and iterate on solutions.
• Prepare design specifications and partner with development teams to support accurate implementation.
• Apply UX principles to improve navigation, task completion, accessibility, and overall user experience.
• Maintain organized design files and contribute reusable components to design system.
