Job summary

Verra Mobility is seeking a UI/UX Designer to join the New Product Introduction (NPI) team within Government Solutions. You will shape the user experience for customer-facing digital products, including a cloud-based Back Office system, from research to high-fidelity interface design and implementation.

You will lead end-to-end design, collaborate with product managers, engineers, and customers, and translate complex user requirements into intuitive, engaging experiences that align with business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, UX, or related field.
• 3+ years of UI/UX design experience with interaction design and prototyping.
• Proficiency in Figma or similar design tools.
• Experience or strong enthusiasm for 0 to 1 product development in undefined contexts.
• Strong portfolio of UI/UX design and interactive prototypes.
• Experience with user research, usability testing, and translating insights into design.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and ability to work with engineers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to work in a team and independently.
• Willingness to travel ~20% and visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end UX design from research to pixel-perfect specs and hand-offs.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights.
• Create user flows, journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and responsive layouts.
• Design and maintain a design system with UI components and style guides.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to identify opportunities and refine requirements.
• Work with engineering teams to ensure accurate implementation.
• Iterate designs based on feedback; promote user-centered design.
• Develop design guidelines and best practices across the organization.
• Stay current with UX/UI trends and technologies.
• Support branding and visual consistency across platforms.
