Job summary

IDS International in Columbia, MD seeks an experienced UX/UI Designer – Journeyman for ADG Creative to lead user experience strategy and deliver scalable interfaces across complex systems.

You will maintain a design system, run workshops, create journey maps, and produce wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes in an Agile setting. A Bachelor’s degree and TS/SCI with Polygraph are required, with 3+ years of UX/UI experience and a strong portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Associate’s degree or HS diploma with 7 years of experience.
• At least 3 years of UX/UI design experience.

Responsibilities

• Implements UX strategy and vision across a large portfolio, ensuring consistent and high-quality user experiences.
• Maintains a comprehensive design system to drive consistency, scalability, and efficiency across products.
• Supports design activities including workshops and design sprints to enhance collaboration across teams.
• Assists with user research, creates user journey maps, and develops wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes.
• Advocates for end-users by identifying workflows, pain points, and needs to inform design solutions.
• Follows UX design processes and applies Human-Centered Design principles within Agile environments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
