Job description

We’re looking for a thoughtful, detail-driven UX Designer to join our growing team at Kmotion Design. You’ll play a key part in building out beautiful, high-performing web experiences (not product design).

You’ll lead research efforts, conduct user interviews and testing, and present key findings and recommendations to our internal team. Based on those insights, you’ll help shape strategic direction and work closely with stakeholders to define project scope and priorities. From there, you’ll support execution by building out components, applying and evolving style guides, creating wireframes, and collaborating with developers to bring designs to life.

This is a highly collaborative role. You won’t be expected to set the full creative vision, but you will be instrumental in shaping what gets built and why. If you’re passionate about thoughtful digital design, have a sharp eye for consistency and details, and love translating strategy into clean, intuitive user experiences, we’d love to hear from you.

Location requirement: This is a fully (USA based) remote position open to U.S. residents only (excluding California & Hawaii).

User Experience (UX) & Web Design (UI):

• Plan and conduct user research through interviews, surveys, and testing to uncover user pain points, behaviors, and opportunities
• Write research scripts, questions, and testing plans tailored to each project’s objectives, ensuring clear, actionable insights
• Synthesize findings and present them to internal stakeholders, helping translate user behavior into clear recommendations
• Collaborate with project leads, strategists, and developers to define the scope of work based on research and business goals
• Build wireframes, low-to-mid fidelity prototypes, and user flows that reflect user needs, conversion goals, and system structure
• Translate strategic direction and creative guidance from the Senior UX/UI Creative Director into scalable, functional design systems
• Create and apply reusable components and style guides that ensure consistency across web builds
• Benchmark competitors and related industries to inform design direction and identify differentiation opportunities
• Ensure all designs are responsive, accessible (ADA-compliant), and feasible for development handoff
• Support seamless collaboration with developers, providing clear specifications and being available to troubleshoot design/dev questions during implementation
• Work across multiple client projects, balancing timelines, priorities, and feedback loops with clarity and ownership
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in our UX processes, tools, and documentation as we grow and scale
• Iterate based on internal feedback and user insights

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Have 3+ years of UX/UI experience (agency or multi-project environments a plus)
• Expertise in complex problem solving, critical thinking, judgment, and decision making.
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
• Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to follow processes and procedures accurately.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, manage multiple tasks under time constraints, and self-manage time and deliverables effectively.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to thrive both independently and in collaborative team environments.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with co-workers, management, vendors, and clients.
• Professionalism in accepting and responding to constructive feedback, ensuring alignment with project and client objectives.
