Job summary

Consulting Solutions is seeking a UX Designer for a hybrid role based in Pittsburgh, PA. The position requires hands-on design work, guidance of other designers, and collaboration across teams to shape product experiences.

You will work to balance strategy with execution, develop reusable design systems, and ensure alignment with business goals and user needs across multiple products. Experience with Figma and Jira/Confluence/SharePoint is essential, and a portfolio submission is required.

Responsibilities

• Balance design strategy with hands-on execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs across multiple product areas.
• Identify user problems and business goals, map user journeys and workflows, and develop prototypes to demonstrate and validate interactions.
• Collaborate across teams to establish shared roadmaps and a unified vision for customer-focused outcomes.
• Guide and mentor designers by defining design objectives, setting goals, and establishing delivery timelines.
• Develop design frameworks, systems, and reusable components to deliver a consistent user experience across multiple products and touchpoints.
• Apply UI/UX expertise to enhance and evolve an established product.
• Ensure continuity between UX prototypes and the final end-user experience by reviewing development implementation and managing design approvals.
• Support user observation, research, and analysis to identify customer needs, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
• Use quantitative and qualitative data to inform design decisions and improve usability and customer outcomes.
