Job summary

Redhorse Corporation seeks a UI/UX professional to support web-based applications for government service delivery. The role will lead site concepts and shape the user journey, ensuring interfaces are visually appealing and technically robust.

You will design and implement information architecture, translate complex requirements into responsive elements, and collaborate with developers to ensure feasibility and design integrity across the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development of web-based applications and online customer service platforms to modernize government service delivery.
• Lead the development of site concepts, ensuring a clear vision for the user's digital journey.
• Design and architect user interfaces that are both aesthetically pleasing and functionally robust.
• Define the information architecture of websites to ensure intuitive navigation and data flow.
• Implement high-fidelity interfaces that integrate seamlessly with backend applications.
• Translate complex mission requirements into responsive design elements and site architectures.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Code and refine application components to ensure design integrity throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Knowledge of database management systems including Oracle, Sybase, or SQL Server.
• Familiarity with legacy web technologies such as Active Server Pages (ASP) or Visual Basic.
• Ability to write and optimize SQL queries for data-driven application interfaces.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment using tools like Jira and GitLab.
• Knowledge of Section 508 compliance and accessibility standards for government websites.
