Job summary

QuaverEd, Inc. is seeking a UX/UI Analyst to evaluate user interactions, analyze platform performance, and optimize intuitive interfaces across web and mobile. You will bridge quantitative data with qualitative design research to improve our digital products.

Responsibilities include training staff, usability testing, and cross-functional collaboration to define UI requirements and ensure design feasibility. Requires 3–5 years in UX roles and a strong portfolio.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in UX/UI design, UX research, product design, product analytics, or related digital product role.
  • Advanced proficiency with Figma including components, Auto Layout, prototyping, libraries, and collaboration workflows.
  • Experience with usability testing, interviews, journey mapping, and translating findings into product recommendations.
  • Experience with product analytics and behavioral insight tools (GA4, Hotjar, Mixpanel, Amplitude, FullStory or similar).
  • Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 accessibility practices and inclusive interaction patterns.
  • Understanding of responsive/mobile-first design and developer handoff processes.
  • Ability to interpret data and communicate evidence-based recommendations.
  • Familiarity with generative AI and AI-assisted research/design tools.

Responsibilities

  • Provide UX/UI training to development staff on best practices.
  • Conduct usability tests, analyze user journeys, and evaluate telemetry.
  • Translate insights into user flows, wireframes, and prototypes for desktop and mobile.
  • Design, run, and analyze A/B tests and user interviews.
  • Collaborate with product managers, front-end developers, and business analysts to define UI requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a UX/UI policy manual.
  • Maintain design system documentation for accessibility and brand consistency.

QuaverEd, Inc. is seeking a UX/UI Analyst to evaluate user interactions, analyze platform performance, and optimize intuitive digital interfaces. You will bridge quantitative user data with qualitative design research to continuously improve our digital products across web and mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • UX/UI Training: Present training to our development staff on best UX/UI principles
  • User Research and Analytics: Conduct usability testing, analyze user journeys, and evaluate behavioral telemetry (funnel conversion, drop-off rates, click heatmaps) using analytics tools.
  • Interface and Interaction Design: Assist development in translating analytical insights into user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes for desktop and mobile applications.
  • A/B and Usability Testing: Design, run, and analyze A/B tests and qualitative user interviews to validate feature updates before full deployment.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with product managers, front-end developers, and business analysts to define UI requirements and ensure design feasibility.
  • Develop UX/UI Policy Manual: Work with staff to incorporate existing knowledge on our UX/UI policies into an up to date manual
  • Design Systems and Consistency: Maintain and expand design system documentation to support accessibility standards (WCAG) and visual brand consistency.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3-5 years of professional experience in UX/UI design, UX research, product design, product analytics, or a related digital product role.
  • Design & Prototyping: Advanced proficiency with Figma, including components, Auto Layout, prototyping, libraries, and collaborative design workflows. Experience with FigJam or similar collaboration tools preferred.
  • Research: Demonstrated experience conducting usability testing, interviews, journey mapping, research synthesis, and translating findings into product recommendations.
  • Analytics: Experience with platforms such as Google Analytics 4, Hotjar, Mixpanel, Amplitude, FullStory, or comparable product analytics and behavioral insight tools.
  • Accessibility: Working knowledge of WCAG 2.2, accessible design practices, keyboard navigation, screen-reader considerations, color contrast, and inclusive interaction patterns.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of responsive/mobile-first design and practical knowledge of HTML/CSS, modern front-end capabilities, and developer handoff processes.
  • Data Literacy: Ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative data, identify meaningful patterns, and communicate evidence-based recommendations.
  • AI Literacy: Familiarity with generative AI and AI-assisted research/design tools, including the ability to evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, usability, bias, and appropriateness.
  • Communication: Strong presentation, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills with the ability to clearly communicate design rationale and research findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Portfolio: Portfolio or work samples demonstrating UX research, problem solving, design process, prototyping, testing, and measurable product improvements.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, UX/UI Design, Interaction Design, Information Systems, Psychology, Computer Science, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

The Job Title role is not a remote work position. All employees must live within commuting distance of Music Row in Nashville. We are currently requiring all team members to work at minimum 3 days a week in the office on the QuaverEd campus and allowing 2 days remote. This requirement is subject to change at the discretion of the team member's Supervisor and company policies.
