Job summary

AHU Technologies Inc. seeks a User Experience (UX) Project Lead to guide end-to-end design of the District's hiring platform, working with the Innovation Team, DoHR, and city agencies to improve digital hiring.

The ideal候 candidate has 10+ years in UX and PM, excels at workshops, usability testing, and cross‑department collaboration, and can translate research into practical, scalable UI/UX improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in UX, human-centered design, or related fields.
• 10+ years of professional UX/design/PM experience.
• Expertise in human-centered design, UX and visual design, incl. research, prototyping, testing.
• Experience managing complex government digital design projects.
• Experience conducting user research and insight synthesis.
• Ability to present complex data clearly.
• Independent and collaborative work style.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
• Workshop facilitation with senior stakeholders.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Commitment to public service improvement.
• Resilient and patient in cross-stakeholder environments.
• Strong PM skills with targets and delivery.
• Organizational and prioritization skills.
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft.
• HTML familiarity.
• Figma/Miro/Sketch/Office suite proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support digital service delivery improvements.
• Lead large-scale transformation involving multiple stakeholders.
• Challenge status quo and promote creative problem solving.
• Use existing research to redesign hiring system.
• Facilitate cross-department workshops mapping processes to UX.
• Conduct usability testing to identify pain points.
• Create site maps, flows, and wireframes for interaction.
• Support PeopleSoft changes prioritized by UX.
• Apply UX to streamline hiring for front/back end users.
• Apply UI style guide to pages within PeopleSoft and test.
• Lead UX/UI changes with HR Department.
• Set and monitor impact targets, course-correct as needed.
