UX Production Designer

Location: Remote but local to Cupertino, CA, Culver City, CA, or New York, NY

Duration: 12 months to start

Pay: ~$72/hr, DOE (W2 and benefit options)

Planet Interactive is seeking a UX Production Designer to join a Fortune 500 client on a 12-month contract. The role is 40 hours/week, remote, with candidates ideally located in Cupertino, CA, Culver City, CA, or New York, NY.

The UX Production Designer plays a key role in translating design concepts into technical products across multiple applications. Responsibilities include managing production workflows, collaborating with content and engineering teams, auditing templates, and ensuring seamless integration of content and features. The role demands technical expertise, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities include:

1. Translating designs into technical templates across three apps.
2. Creating and testing files to ensure optimal user experience across platforms.
3. Managing production workflows and collaborating with content and engineering teams.
4. Auditing and troubleshooting templates and features.
5. Working with GitHub, SourceTree, and Terminal for version control and deployment.
6. Collaborating closely with engineering to implement new features and fix bugs.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in UX design or production.
• Strong knowledge of GitHub, Terminal, and related tools.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience working in technical workflows and software testing.
• Proficiency in Keynote, Pages, Numbers, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator.
