Located at Tesla's Fremont factory, this position involves designing and implementing manufacturing lines for vehicle and energy products. You will be responsible for developing controls systems, collaborating with suppliers, and ensuring successful project delivery to support Tesla's mission of sustainable energy.

Responsibilities

1. Design and launch manufacturing equipment for new products.
2. Develop next-generation control systems integrating traditional PLC logic with modern software.
3. Perform hands-on work with production equipment from commissioning to ramp-up.
4. Contribute to Tesla’s hardware and software standards for future equipment.
5. Lead and coordinate with machine suppliers and internal teams for project success.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in PLC or industrial controllers (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Beckhoff).
• Experience programming industrial robots (e.g., Fanuc, KUKA).
• Electrical schematic design skills (ePLAN or AutoCAD).
• Manufacturing experience and troubleshooting electro-mechanical devices.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or related fields.
