Job summary

Schwab is seeking a User Experience Designer to join our Austin team. This role spans advisor services platforms, with desktop and responsive mobile experiences, and emphasizes practical, user-centered design that helps clients achieve their financial goals.

You will collaborate with UX designers, visual designers, researchers and business partners to facilitate design sessions, lead reviews and translate patterns into deliverables.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of core UX principles and user-centered design.
• Experience delivering high-fidelity UI designs.
• Proficient in project tracking and documentation using Confluence and Jira.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate design sessions, sketching and ideation.
• Lead design reviews and drive decisions.
• Translate patterns and design systems into deliverables.
• Create visualizations and prototypes with appropriate documentation.
• Set project expectations and maintain design schedules.
• Communicate status and align with UX managers.
• QA design work and participate in research.
• Collaborate with partners and support UX teammates.
