Description
TheUX Designer, Intranetplays a key role in crafting highly functional and intuitive digital experiences for internal users on a browser-based desktop platform. This individual is fluent in the end-to-end UX design process and has a working knowledge of maintaining and preserving robust design systems. As a core member of the team, the UX Designer will own design work for entire features and workflows, and help maintain consistency and efficiency across the intranet through scalable design solutions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers to understand business goals, user needs, and technical constraints.
- Collaborate on requirements to create user-centered designs including workflows, wireframes, prototypes, user-interface specifications, and high-fidelity mockups.
- Take ownership of UX deliverables for small to midsize projects, ensuring quality and consistency across all touchpoints.
- Drive the evolution and maintenance of our internal design system, building reusable components and documentation in Figma.
- Advocate for UX best practices and accessibility standards across the product ecosystem.
- Present and articulate design solutions to internal teams and key stakeholders with clarity and confidence. Iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Visual Design, Computer Science, Digital Design, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Must be able to produce college transcripts, as appropriate, showing a minimum 3.0 GPA
- 3+ years’ experience in UX design, creating wireframes, mockups, user journeys, and process flows
- 3+ years’ experience with design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma; preferably Figma.
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite OR Photoshop and Illustrator
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS; JavaScript is a plus
- Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture

- Department: Corporate Development and Data Governance
- Compensation Range: $69,500 - $92,500. Total compensation for this role also includes a variable component.
