The Syria Justice and Accountability Centre (SJAC) seeks a talented UX Designer for a part-time, remote position over a 6-month contract. About Solicitation
The Syria Justice and Accountability Centre (SJAC) is a Syrian human rights non-profit organization working for meaningful justice and accountability for Syria that holds perpetrators accountable and addresses grievances, leading to lasting peace.
Bayanat is an open-source data management solution for processing huge amounts of data relevant to human rights abuses and war crimes, developed and maintained by SJAC. SJAC, as well as several other NGOs, uses Bayanat to collect, analyze, and share documentation of human rights violations, war crimes and crimes against humanity.
SJAC is soliciting applications for a UX Designer position. SJAC will evaluate applications based on best overall value and establish a framework consulting agreement for six months. The consulting agreement can be extended beyond this period based on satisfactory performance and funding availability for up to three years.
Position Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative UX Designer to join our team. In this role, you will design and enhance user interfaces and experiences across our websites and Bayanat, focusing on creating visually appealing, user-centered designs that drive engagement and usability.
