Job summary

Riot Games is seeking a UX Designer for Wild Rift to shape the UX of in-game events and Around Game experiences. You will translate patch goals into engaging player experiences and improve core gameplay flows, working across teams to ensure cohesive design quality.

You will work with minimal oversight on defined tasks, advocate for the player experience, and collaborate with partners across international teams to align on direction and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience designing digital experiences, products, and platforms as a User Experience Designer or Interaction Designer.
• Experience with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or other industry design and prototyping tools.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to align partners on goals, explain tradeoffs, and surface misalignment early.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end UX design for in-game events, partnering with the Live-Experience team to translate patch and product goals into clear player experience targets and support cross-functional delivery through launch.
• Design and improve selected Around Game systems, especially experiences connected to core gameplay and primary player flows, ensuring experiential quality and consistency across features end-to-end.
• Use competitive analysis and user research to identify player needs, UX opportunities, and product improvement directions; communicate your data-informed vision and design rationale to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Explore and apply AI tools to improve research synthesis, design exploration, prototyping, and documentation while validating outputs and following data security and confidentiality requirements.
