Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Senior UX Designer with full-stack design capabilities to join our team. Reporting directly to the Head of Design, this role is pivotal in shaping user experiences across our digital platforms. You'll combine your expertise in UX/UI design, end-to-end project execution, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to create intuitive, visually compelling digital experiences aligned with our business objectives and user needs, including designing for users of our CMS platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • End-to-End Design Execution: Lead the complete design process from user research and ideation through wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.
  • Experience Design: Design and optimize user experiences for both eCommerce customers and internal users across MarTech, CMS, and operational platforms. Create intuitive, consistent, and scalable interfaces that support seamless workflows, efficient content management, and cohesive brand experiences within our digital ecosystem.
  • User Research & Testing: Conduct user research to identify customer pain points and behaviors, translating insights into actionable strategies and iterating based on usability testing and data analysis.
  • User Journey Mapping: Develop detailed user journey maps to pinpoint opportunities for optimization and enhance experiences across multiple touchpoints.
  • UX/UI Design: Produce wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs optimized for usability and visual appeal across desktop, mobile, and app platforms.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Collaborate with stakeholders to validate designs through structured UAT, ensuring alignment with user needs and business objectives.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with product managers, engineers, marketers, and other stakeholders to align design solutions with business goals, clearly communicating design decisions and advocating for user-centered approaches.
  • Brand Consistency: Maintain adherence to brand guidelines while driving innovation in visual identity across digital platforms.
  • Agile Development Support: Actively participate in Agile/Scrum workflows to prioritize tasks and deliver iterative improvements.
Experience & Skills:
  • Minimum of 5+ years in UX/UI design with a strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end project execution.
  • Deep understanding of UX principles, user journey mapping, conversion optimization, and responsive design.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality, scalable design work and innovative problem-solving.
  • Experience in e-commerce or health tech industries.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design tools.
  • Solid understanding and experience designing within various CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Contentful, Fastr, Builder.io) and marketing technology systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Design Systems, Pattern and Component Libraries.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
  • Experience with project management tools like Jira or Monday.
  • Knowledge of A/B testing tools and data-driven design decisions.
Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering user-centered solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Leverage A/B testing and behavioral insights to refine UI patterns, optimize user flows, and boost engagement and conversion across digital storefronts.
  • Stay ahead of UX/UI trends, eCommerce best practices, and customer expectations to craft seamless, high-performing experiences.
  • Generate user-centered design solutions that support partner marketing, enhance sales enablement tools, and elevate customer engagement across the full funnel.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and content teams.
Bonus Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with CSS, Sass, and CSS variables.
  • Familiarity with design tokenization processes for seamless integration between design and development.
  • Proven capability in designing diverse digital marketing assets, including banners, email templates, social media graphics, and display ads.
  • Understanding of performance marketing and optimizing creatives for conversion (e.g., click-through rates).

At Health-E Commerce, our goal is to provide an offer that supports growth potential within the role and allows for future salary progression. Final compensation is evaluated on various factors which include but aren’t limited to experience, skills, internal equity among peers, and geographic location.

  • Compensation: $90,000 - 120,000
