About The Role

As the lead Product/UI/UX Designer, you will shape the user experience and interface of GoodFin’s innovative wealth management platform. You will work closely with founders, engineers, and stakeholders to enhance product usability, visual appeal, and functionality. This role also involves contributing to website design, marketing collateral, and branding efforts. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership in a fast-paced startup environment and influence a first-of-its-kind fintech product.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define user needs, business goals, and design objectives.
• Lead the end-to-end UI/UX design process, including wireframing, prototyping, and creating high-fidelity mockups.
• Develop user-friendly, accessible, and visually compelling interfaces for web and mobile platforms.
• Apply best practices in interaction design and information architecture to optimize the user journey.
• Use analytics and user behavior data to guide design decisions and improve engagement.
• Create clear, visually appealing infographics and marketing materials that communicate complex financial concepts.
• Design and optimize web pages to improve user acquisition, retention, and conversion.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and iterative reviews to refine designs continuously.
• Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and AI-driven design innovations.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio focused on web and mobile design.
• Experience in building and managing design systems.
• Proficiency in Figma and Webflow or similar no-code/low-code platforms.
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, design thinking, and usability best practices.
• Experience in fintech or financial products/services is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain design decisions effectively.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, especially with engineering.
• Passion for innovation and delivering exceptional user experiences, with interest in AI-driven design.
• Experience or interest in premium or luxury product design is a plus.
