Job summary

TechSmith is seeking a UX Designer for our marketing site properties. You will craft great experiences as part of a multidisciplinary team, bridging marketing, growth, business stakeholders, and software engineers to drive conversion and user satisfaction.

You’ll use Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, and other tools to prototype, validate, and refine designs with users and stakeholders, then collaborate with development teams to implement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in UX, HCI, Design with 2+ years of commercial UX experience.
• Strong understanding of Visual Design and Human-Computer Interaction fundamentals.
• Portfolio demonstrating experience designing user interfaces or web experiences.
• 2 years of experience using modern design tools (e.g. Figma, Sketch).
• Self-motivated and able to collaborate with a diverse set of people from many disciplines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for communication inside and outside the company.
• Experience in, or desire to, design marketing web and ecommerce experiences.
• You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without an employer-sponsored petition for a visa.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic design and conversion for digital experiences and ecommerce funnels.
• Apply visual brand identity across experiences to support the brand voice.
• Analyze KPIs and conduct usability testing to inform design decisions.
• Collaborate with marketing, growth, stakeholders and engineers to optimize UX.
• Advocate for users and ensure a seamless customer journey.
• Mentor others and ensure design consistency across teams.
• Stay informed of design trends and best practices.
