Job summary

AppFolio is seeking a UX Designer to join FolioGuard, our integrated insurance platform within AppFolio's Real Estate Performance Management suite. You will partner with Product and Engineering to define opportunities, conduct user research, and iterate across design decisions that move metrics.

You will apply AI-powered design tools, contribute to our design system, and translate complex requirements into clear outcomes for cross-functional teams in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrating design process and problem-solving in software products.
• Experience with growth experiments and data-informed design decisions.
• Proficiency with AI-powered design tools to improve speed and quality.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product and Engineering to understand user problems and deliver design solutions across FolioGuard workflows.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and design validation to ground solutions in customer needs.
• Design and iterate on growth experiments and A/B tests to optimize user flows and business outcomes.
• Contribute to and evolve the design system, ensuring UI consistency.
