Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in UX design or related field with significant professional experience.
- Portfolio showing end-to-end design of complex enterprise/data-heavy apps.
- Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools and ability to convert wireframes to interactive prototypes.
- Experience designing accessible interfaces meeting Section 508/WCAG 2.1 AA.
Responsibilities
- Design the DHS OIG data platform landing page and portal with a single data-entry point for resources, access, dashboards, and training materials.
- Improve OIGChat UI with conversational flows and guardrail messaging for non-technical users.
- Produce wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for AI applications and investigative workflows.
- Establish and maintain a platform design system, including components, typography, color, and iconography.
