Job summary

Yoh is seeking a UX Designer to build, maintain, and scale an enterprise design system for complex, data-heavy internal tools. You will bridge design and front-end engineering to ensure UI components are consistent, accessible, and aligned with production implementation.

This role collaborates with product designers, managers, and engineers to shape design tokens, theming, and usage guidelines, while exploring AI-assisted tools to improve documentation and workflows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building, scaling, or maintaining enterprise design systems.
• Advanced Figma skills with variables, variants, auto-layout, and token workflows.
• Strong WCAG and accessible design practices.

UX Designer – Enterprise Design Systems

We are seeking a UX Designer to help build, maintain, and scale an enterprise design system for complex, data-heavy internal tools. This role will bridge design and front-end engineering by ensuring UI components and patterns are consistent, accessible, scalable, and aligned with production implementation.

Scope

• Build, maintain, and expand Figma component libraries.
• Audit and document UI patterns to improve consistency and component adoption.
• Develop accessible design patterns aligned with WCAG standards.
• Define design tokens and theming structures.
• Create usage guidelines, interaction specifications, and contribution standards.
• Support product teams adopting the design system through collaboration and office hours.
• Partner with designers, product managers, and engineers to align designs with production implementation.
• Evaluate AI-assisted tools for documentation, linting, and design-to-code workflows.

Required

• 3+ years of experience building, scaling, or maintaining enterprise design systems.
• Advanced proficiency with Figma, including variables, component variants, auto-layout, and token workflows.
• Strong understanding of WCAG and accessible design practices.
• Experience designing complex, data-heavy, or high-density interfaces.
• Strong visual and interaction design skills with a detail-oriented approach.
• Experience documenting UI patterns, design standards, and interaction specifications.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with product designers, product managers, and software engineers.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Pluses

• Experience with Angular Material or Google Material Design.
• Understanding of Angular component structures, theming, and front-end implementation constraints.
• Experience with design tokens, design system tooling, or token automation.
• Experience designing for robotics, simulation, mapping, autonomous vehicles, developer tools, or other complex technical environments.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted design workflows, automated linting, documentation generation, or design-to-code tools.

Estimated Min Rate: $80.00
Estimated Max Rate: $100.00/hr+. Depends on work experience.
