Job summary

Google is seeking a UX Engineer in the Platforms and Devices division. You will design, prototype, and refine user-facing experiences across desktop and mobile platforms, collaborating with design, product management, and engineering to deliver high-quality features.

You will translate concepts into living prototypes, drive design-system initiatives, and help production apps align with user needs and accessibility standards. A strong emphasis on cross-disciplinary collaboration is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience in front-end development, technical UX design, or prototyping.
• Experience in application development in web, mobile, or XR platforms.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill several project requests simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
• Advise, collaborate with, and synthesize feedback from UX designers and researchers.
• Collaborate with other engineers on final implementation and polish.
• Meet high accessibility standards.
• Serve as a mentor for early career UX engineers and peers.
