Job summary

Google in San Francisco, CA, seeks an experienced UX Engineer to develop products and prototypes that bring innovative ideas to life. You will work within a multi-disciplinary UX team, collaborating with Engineering and Product Management to create industry-leading experiences.

As a UX Engineer, you will translate design concepts into living prototypes, iterate on interactions and animations, and ensure high-quality production implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience in front-end development, technical UX design, or prototyping.
• Experience in application development in at least one platform/area (e.g., web, iOS, Android, CompDes, XR).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers to refine feature ideas and product interactions.
• Build high-fidelity prototypes, tools, and frameworks to aid the design process, and work with team members to bring them in front of users.
• Update prototypes with new and refined ideas based on research feedback, and hand them off to engineering while providing technical insights.
• Contribute to team libraries that are used both across our prototypes and production.
• Utilize AI to improve the design system and build systems to transform the way our team works.
