Do it Best Group in Fort Wayne, IN seeks a motivated UX Design Intern to support our UX team. You will contribute to journey mapping, interface design, and IA audits for tools used by thousands of member stores. This paid internship runs May–August 2027, with local-only applicants.

College credit may be earned, and mentorship from IT leaders is included. Ideal candidates are pursuing a UX Design/HCI-related degree, have familiarity with Figma and Miro, and enjoy working in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in UX Design, HCI, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Anthropology, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Shadow UX research activities (usability testing, stakeholder interviews, heuristic evaluations).
• Assist with design creation and interface refinements in Figma (wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes).
• Organize journey maps and design artifacts in Miro.
• Analyze navigation and information architecture to suggest improvements.
• Prepare documentation and presentations to share findings with UX and development teams.
