Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation is seeking a User Experience Intern to join the Experience Design Group. You will work closely with senior designers, product managers, and developers to shape UX for web, mobile, and industrial apps.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in UX/UI Design, HCI, Graphic Design, Psychology, or a related field.
• A portfolio of academic, personal, or professional projects showcasing a user-centered design process, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Familiarity with design and prototyping software such as Figma.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present design ideas clearly.

Responsibilities

• User Research: assist in conducting interviews, surveys, and competitive analyses to understand user needs.
• Design & Prototyping: create low- and high-fidelity wireframes, user flows, and prototypes using Figma.
• Testing & Iteration: participate in usability testing sessions, gather feedback, and translate insights into design improvements.
• Collaboration: partner with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and marketing to align designs with goals.
• Design Systems: help maintain UI components, style guides, and design documentation.
