Job summary

Cambridge is seeking a User Experience Intern to support the UX/UI Design team in evolving and maintaining the enterprise design system. You’ll gain hands-on experience building scalable UI components in Figma and collaborating with designers and engineers to deliver consistent digital experiences.

This 11-week paid summer internship (May 17 – July 30) is on-site in Phoenix, AZ. You are an undergraduate student in UX/UI or related fields with a portfolio, and you’ll learn design system

Qualifications

Currently enrolled undergraduate student in UX/UI/HCI or related field.
Portfolio demonstrating UI design and systems thinking.
Knowledge of accessibility principles and design systems.
Strong collaboration and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Refine reusable UI components for usability and accessibility.
Create and maintain enterprise-scale design system components in Figma.
Support design system documentation and usage guidelines.
Collaborate with designers and engineers to scale cohesive digital experiences.
Utilize Cambridge Design System, Microsoft Copilot, and approved AI tools for design exploration.
